Another silver lining…

Precious metals have stormed back following Monday’s blowoff and reversal. Several of the metals are now at new highs once again, e.g., gold, silver. Our silver fund, SLV, is hitting another long-term Fib Extension above $109 so we will trim a little more off of that position. We are also selling our China internet fund, KWEB, as the laggard tests resistance:

  • We sold 1/6 our position in the silver fund, SLV, near ~109.50 (.5% exposure now)
  • We sold our position in the China internet fund, KWEB, near ~36.50
  • *UPDATE: We added to our position in the inverse volatility fund, SVIX, near ~22.49 (1.5% “short” exposure now)*
  • *UPDATE: We added further to our position in the inverse volatility fund, SVIX, near ~21.89 (2% “short” exposure now)*
  • *UPDATE: We added to our position in the Germany fund, EWG, near ~43.34 (2% exposure now)*
  • *UPDATE: We added to our position in the Argentina fund, ARGT, near ~98.99 (1% exposure now)*
  • *UPDATE: We added to our position in the momentum fund, MTUM, near ~255.99 (1% exposure now)*
  • *UPDATE: We sold 1/5 of our position in the gold fund, GLD, near ~494.00 (1% exposure now)*
  • *UPDATE: We added a hedge position in the inverse silver fund, ZSL, near ~1.60 (2% “short” exposure)*
  • *UPDATE: We added a hedge position in the inverse gold miners fund, DUST, near ~4.59 (2% “short” exposure)*
