On Wednesday, June 18, Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite closed at 15,109.25. This was its first new all-time high In 6 Years…to the very day. The previous record high was set on June 18 2008 at 15,073.10.

In terms of investment potential, there is hardly anything better than all-time highs, especially when it is the first in some time. However, for the intermediate-term, it would probably be better for the index’s prospects if it consolidated the recent gains in this area for a bit before breaking out.
